These blackened copper miniature button studs with sterling silver posts, will certainly make an admirer do a double take and wonder are you "gauging"?  Just a bit of curiosity to start an amusing conversation.  Earrings are crafted from copper metal clay.  The clay is then kiln fired, creating a solid metal button.  The copper is polished to a satin finish, then blackened to add dimension and additional color.  Designed and created by Lisa Parmer Ditty in her Pennsylvania studio.
